This past week on Tuesday, our Board met to discuss the upcoming Spring season. A major part of what was discussed were capital improvements to our facilities. The board voted to approve spending for the following improvements:

1. Contracting with Premier Sports to rebuild the pitching mounds at Westgate 1 and Idylwood 2 as well as adding infield mix to both ID2 and  ID3. Premier will also be grooming our fields 2x a week during our  Spring and Fall seasons to help mitigate maintenance and rainouts!
2. New backstop pads for ID2, ID3, WG1, LCW (Leis), and James Lee with  FCKLL logos - including the 75th!
3. New Scoreboard for James Lee 
4. New 30' high netting for James Lee down the baselines and behind home plate saving countless baseballs and neighbor complaints!
5. New steel post and metal roof dugouts for James Lee - this will most likely be a fall addition due to required permits (any help would be greatly welcomed in the Fairfax Co. Permitting Process!)
6. New Lighting for James Lee - this is a longer term play and a much larger expense and for that reason we are looking for approvals first and then funding
7. Various new equipment to replace aging equipment - catchers gear, practice balls, hitting nets, etc.
