All-Star Selection Process
To be considered for an All-Star team, a player must have participated in at least 60% of the regular season games, and the player must be available for all but one tournament game. An All-Stars meeting is held in mid-May, and at least one parent is encouraged to attend to understand the process and expectations. To aid in the selection process, players who are league age 9, 10, and 11, must attend a tryout in early June to be considered for a team.
Players are either voted onto the All-Star teams by their peers or selected by the All-Star Selection Committee. Voting will take place in early June, with players announced soon after.
Select Game Selection Process
Players not chosen or able to play for an All-Star team may be able to participate in the Select Game in mid-June.
Players chosen for this group will come from nominations from the Coach of Record for all AA and AAA teams. The players the coach nominates will come from the team he or she coached. These teams will be filled out after the All-Star teams are selected. A player cannot play on both an All-Star team and in the Select game.
