Tomorrow’s forecast is like a bad joke! Today’s email includes reminders for those attending assessments tomorrow, and a preview for everyone of the next two weeks.

ASSESSMENTS: Tomorrow at the Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School Gym (105 Mustang Alley, on Route 7/Leesburg Pike near the on-ramp to I-66). Arrival times are unchanged, by last name. Please check in at Door #1. We hope players will still be in and out in about an hour, but please be patient if we encounter delays due to the change in venue. Parents should remain outside the confines of the gym while your child assesses. Masks optional. Get all the details including arrival time here. TOMORROW’S TEE BALL CLINIC: Postponed to next Wednesday. Clinic participants, please look for an email from [email protected]. (This is not for all tee ball players – only those who registered for the Clinic.)

GEAR SWAP: Postponed until Opening Day, March 26, at Westgate. We will have limited items to distribute tomorrow at MEH. Those with items to donate can drop them at MEH tomorrow or hold on to them until Opening Day.

LOOKING AHEAD: Next week we are behind closed doors, crunching assessment data and drafting/forming teams. Intermediate gets rolling first. Majors teams should be announced next Thursday, with practices beginning Saturday, March 19. Everyone else is a fast follow from there. Please be patient while we place nearly 600 kids over the next 10 days.

March 19: Volunteers needed for Spring Clean Up! Sign Up Genius will be released soon. Block 10am-1pm if you can help.

March 26: Parade through Pimmit Hills and Opening Ceremony at Westgate, 8:45-10:00. Games begin that day for AA+; Single A, Tee Ball, and Challengers begin practice that day and start game play April 2.
