This is a reminder that Spring Registration is OPEN for all levels, and the Early Bird Discount of $20 per player runs through December 31. Many important details are below.

We are excited to preview a change to our operations for 2022, one that will save us nearly 20% of our annual operating expenses! After many years of service, our field maintenance contractor has retired and we are shifting to a new model. A new service provider will provide mowing services, however, other tasks like field dressing and upkeep will fall to our volunteer corps. The money we save will be used to invest in other improvements for our League.

Many hands make light work! We are looking for volunteers to assist with lining and drying fields, raking and dragging, properly repairing holes, and reporting problems and safety concerns. We will assign “Field Captains” and will provide more details and training in the new year. At this time we are creating a list of folks willing to help with these tasks, which have been described as “oddly satisfying.” If you are interested in oddly satisfying work, please contact Sean Pipia, our VP of Operations, at [email protected]. No experience or Herculean strength required, and this work covers each family’s volunteer requirement!

Key Dates:

• Now: Registration open for all levels, with a $20/player Early Bird Discount. FCKLL, operating as a 501(c)(3) organization, does kindly ask that you consider donating this discount amount back to the League as a tax-deductible gift -- you'll have the opportunity to do this in the registration portal.

   

• December 31: Early Bird Registration closes

   

• January 1: Regular Registration opens

   

• February 18: Registration closes for ALL LEVELS! Given the growth in the league, we must adhere to a hard deadline for planning our team structure and coaching needs.

   

• March 26: Opening Day

ICYMI in November, System Update:

Our vendor, Sports Connect, has made a change to their platform and this will require all users to take an important step before they can register players or volunteer for the Spring. 

Even if you have an existing account, all users MUST create a new account. Please visit www.fckll.org, click on LOGIN, and follow the quick instructions.

After you set up a new account, the system will automatically link to your existing Sports Connect account. This change is intended to provide an improved user experience and account security for you. 

Once your account is set up, email verification will be required to access your account. You will need to do this before you access your account to complete any registration, view account details, etc.

Proving residency. Little League requires proof of residency or attending a school within FCKLL's boundary. New players, please verify your address at Little League International's League Finder before you register. You will have the option to upload the three required documents when you register, which FCKLL encourages. If not possible at this time, you may upload these documents later (under your account settings) or bring all required documentation to assessments.

Interested in coaching? Please let your Level Coordinator know that you are interested in coaching (as well as indicating this during Registration). If you are not sure what Level you want to coach, or who the appropriate Coordinator is, please contact [email protected]. 

Interested in volunteering for more than one role? Little League International requires you fill out a volunteer form for each role for which you apply. You will see this during Registration. Sorry for this inconvenience!
