We’ve been working hard in the offseason to get ready for baseball in the Spring: improving facilities, launching a new website, and finalizing a strategy to keep everyone as safe as possible as our community continues to fight COVID-19.
Our COVID-conscious efforts are extensive, and our guidelines and procedures map directly to guidance from the CDC, state and local officials, and Little League International. Highlights include:
- All players, coaches, families, and volunteers must abide by mask and social distancing protocols at practices and games.
- The league has procured extra equipment to ensure nothing is shared, and will provide alcohol-based sanitizer at all events.
- An online health screening will be required for players and volunteers prior to all practices and games.
- Each team will appoint two COVID coaches, to ensure safety procedures are followed at all times. Want to volunteer?
Our goal is to provide a safe environment for our entire FCKLL family. It will take a village: players, coaches, volunteers, and family members will all need to comply with League guidelines to keep everyone safe. Guidelines are in place so that, should a COVID case be identified, risk to players and fans is limited.
